History
Formed in 1994, the Helpmann Academy is a unique partnership of the major tertiary arts training establishments in South Australia, unifying the skills and resources of the state's universities and TafeSA.Named in honour of South Australia’s iconic actor and dancer, Sir Robert Helpmann, the Academy was established to bring together the skills, resources and talents of its partner institutions in order to assist arts students make the transition form study to professional practice.
