Adelaide Central School of Art Summer School and Masterclasses
Classes for beginners through to more advanced during January. The Summer School offers a new and more diverse selection of courses including two-day intensives and half-day course options. Artists offering courses for the first time include Daryl Austin, Sandy Elverd, Louise Feneley, Christian Lock and Lisa Young.
The intensive masterclasses with Chelsea Lehmann and Stewart MacFarlane are aimed at those who are looking to expand on their skills.

Adelaide Fringe 2014 Volunteer Registrations now open
Adelaide Fringe simply couldn’t operate without the generous support of its wonderful team of volunteers who work alongside their team of professionals to deliver such programs as Opening Night Parade, Fringe in the Mall, Street Theatre Festival and other Adelaide Fringe produced projects and activities.
There are two different ways to volunteer with Fringe this year, depending on whether you can only give a small amount of time, or if you are looking for a role with a bit more commitment.
There are two options for volunteering:
- Parade Volunteer
- Core Volunteer Team
As a Parade Volunteer you will help stage the iconic Fringe Parade on Friday 14 February 2014. Adelaide Fringe need people who can assist with the marshalling of this brilliant event. By helping on the night you will be invited to an exclusive Post-Parade Party with performances by Fringe Artists. If you are interested in becoming more involved over the Fringe period please consider registering your interest to become a member of the Core Volunteer Team. A team of around 50 volunteers will have the opportunity to work closely with the Fringe team to help deliver a number of free Fringe produced events. Register here now

Call for Artists
Tooth and Nail Gallery is now accepting submissions for next year’s exhibition schedule. This is an artist run initiative in Adelaide housing artist studios, a gallery space and an open access printmaking workshop situated in Coromandel Place, Adelaide.
Please include the names and contact info of all people involved in the exhibition, mediums, examples of work, concepts of the exhibition and when you would like to hold it.

Special Opportunity Arts Grants for Individuals
Will provide up to $300 in a three-year period to support eligible individuals residing in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield who are practicing artists and/or emerging artists or talented amateurs, to take advantage of unique opportunities that may significantly benefit their work and/or career development and as a consequence provide ongoing promotion and support for the arts in the Port Adelaide Enfield community.
Funding will be considered for:
- Materials for a specific piece.
- Exhibition costs i.e. framing, transportation of work, crating, installation costs.
- Documentation of works for a specific opportunity.
- Travel and accommodation costs to participate in a show, exhibition or presentation.
- Participation in conferences, seminars and programs that increase knowledge, skill and experience, where the benefits are ultimately returned to the Port Adelaide Enfield community.
Applications will be accepted throughout the year at least three weeks before the project or opportunity is to commence and will be processed as they are received.
