The residency will offer an emerging or established artist the opportunity to develop a new body of work that culminates in an exhibition in the Prospect Gallery / Digital Hub / online during the SALA Festival in 2014. The residency offers Digital Hub access and facilities for artists working in Digital media, a small stipend and an exhibition during SALA Festival 2014.

‘Prospect-Us’ Temporary Public Art Project
The City of Prospect is seeking artists (new and established) of any age, as well as creative thinkers, to create an installation or intervention (ephemeral, temporary) in the public realm.
10 Artists will be selected to create work for installation from 1 August 2013 onwards. Each successful artist will receive $850 (inc GST) to develop, create and install a work or works of art within City of Prospect Council area.

The four scholarships – each worth $12,500 – can be used for any professional development activity either in Australia or abroad.

Unexpected Port: Grants to enliven Port Adelaide
Port Adelaide is the next target for artist-created pop-up projects. Hot on the heels of the enormously popular Unexpected City grants, which focus on upcoming events for the Adelaide CBD, Unexpected Port invites artists to activate the streets, waterfront and laneways of Port Adelaide.

The Fleurieu Art Prize (including the Fleurieu Youth Sculpture Commission)
The world’s richest landscape painting prize is now calling for entries with a connection to landscape as a theme, with an increased main prize of $60,000 (non acquisitive); the Fleurieu Youth Sculpture Commission, with the winner receiving a commission fee of $3,000 plus up to $1,000 for materials; and a People’s Choice Award of $2,500. Works can be an interpretation of landscape, objects and subjects placed in a landscape, depictions of current and topical events, cityscapes, waterscapes, suggestions of landscape and more.

Adelaide City Bike Art Trail Launch
The Adelaide City Council and Arts SA are engaging South Australian artists in an exciting new public art project - the Adelaide City Bike Art Trail. Public art works have been developed for eleven locations around the city, which either sit alongside or incorporate a public bike rack, forming a unique cycling art trail through the CBD and North Adelaide.
The Adelaide Bike Art Trail will be launched on Sunday 30 June. Take a free tour and meet the artists along the trail or self-guide your way between 10am and 2pm.

Special Opportunity Arts Grants for Individuals
The City of Port Adelaide Enfield provides up to $300 in a three-year period to support eligible individuals residing in the council area who are practicing artists and/or emerging artists or talented amateurs, to take advantage of unique opportunities that may significantly benefit their work and/or career development and as a consequence provide ongoing promotion and support for the arts in the Port Adelaide Enfield community.
Funding will be considered for:
- Materials for a specific piece.
- Exhibition costs i.e. framing, transportation of work, crating, installation costs.
- Documentation of works for a specific opportunity.
- Travel and accommodation costs to participate in a show, exhibition or presentation.
- Participation in conferences, seminars and programs that increase knowledge, skill and experience, where the benefits are ultimately returned to the Port Adelaide Enfield community.
Applications will be accepted throughout the year at least three weeks before the project or opportunity is to commence and will be processed as they are received.
