WEBSITES FOR CREATIVES
HELPMANN ACADEMY ACTIVATE SEMINAR SERIES
with Amy Milhinch, Creative Director, Freerange Future
So you think you need a website?
Websites can be a strong foundation to promote your practice and give you control over how you position yourself in the market place. But why? What and how?
Amy Milhinch, Creative Director of Freerange Future, will guide you through an in-depth process to help you define the ‘why’ of your website. You will consider your practice in the context of the online space: beginning with what your objectives and goals for your practice are, who your audiences are, and “branding” (for want of a better word), which will resolve into language, imagery and style. You will apply the outcomes of this process into planning your website design and content, and finally, building your site.
Delivered over three sessions, Amy will be on-hand every step of the way to help you deep-dive into the purpose of your site, as well as tips on how to bring audiences to this online expression of your creative practice.
This workshop series is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for creatives who are considering starting a website, or those who already have one, but would like to define it’s purpose and function more thoroughly.
Please note, these are hands-on workshops, a laptop is essential.
