Portia Valley Wines Label Competition

In partnership with Portia Valley Wines, the Helpmann Academy is delighted to present the Portia Valley Wines Label Competition.

Open to final year visual art students and graduates (within five years following their final year of study) from Adelaide College of the Arts (Tafe SA/Flinders University) and the University of South Australia, the competition offers the opportunity for an artist to have their work featured on the top winery’s new Rosé release, and permanently displayed in the Portia Valley Wines bottling hall.

The selected artist will receive full credit on the label and a cash payment of $2,000 for the acquisition of the selected work (including artwork, frame, title and copyright ownership).

Together with invaluable experience of working on a commercial commission, the Portia Valley Wines Label Competition is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging artist to broaden their audience and develop their artistic practice.

Artists practising in different mediums can submit up to a maximum of 10 works for consideration.
